You surely have noticed the release of the onhub router from google manufactured by TP-Link. Google is ambitious that this product will surpass all other routers available in the market currently and wash away the age old problem to setting up a router too with it's super easy interface.
So here Adispark brings to you a few things you should know before investing 200$ on the Onhub router :
- The Onhub router can work by priority. Like say, you want your android phone to use more bandwidth of the connection than your iphone then can easily do that in this router.
- Setting up this router is probably the easiest as you won't have to do it the old way of connecting cables, going to a particular link, setting it up and all that. You can easily set up your router from the mobile companion app of the Onhub.
- There is also a reveal password button in the Onhub. So, that you can easily share the connection with someone else you want to.
- The Onhub router surely has some brainy features. As unlike other conventional router it doesn't only tell you which devices or how many devices are connected to the router but also how much data is being used by each of these devices.
- Using the Onhub router you can connect all the devices at your home as it has 13 internal antennas each placed 120 degrees apart from one another i.e; 6 of them providing frequency of 2.4 GigaHz, other 6 providing 5 GigaHz and one antenna is there to monitor the network.
- This device has Bluetooth version 4.0. So, sharing files over bluetooth is also possible at higher speeds.
- The companion app can also perform speed tests. So, you can have a brief idea about what you can do with that wifi connection.
- The Router supports 802.11ac. So that, the router can provide speeds up to 1.3 Gbps with a wide coverage.
